Farmer for a day

This is a hands on farm experience for children aged 7 to 14. The day gives everyone the opportunity to get their hands dirty on the farm with our interactive approach and a day out they will not forget.
We will show and explain how our farm works and what a day feels like. No 2 days are the same.
The day starts at 9am and depending on the age of the group and the weather the day’s activities will generally include
letting the sheep out
feeding the
sheep
alpacas
cows & calves
grooming the horses
After lunch, which is included, there may be some general farm work to do including
making up the food for the animals
collecting eggs
cleaning up where the animals sleep
tending to the vege garden
Once the farm is complete, we collect some firewood and enjoy a campfire toasting some marshmallows.
The day concludes at 3pm.
